High power for tough jobs: OCI-460 LED’s from EPIGAP OSA

18. Februar 2026 High-power industrial sensing often comes with familiar challenges: not enough optical output, too many LEDs to illuminate a larger area, or designs that struggle in harsh environments.
The OCI-460 series SMD LEDs from EPIGAP OSA are designed to address exactly these issues. With record output power (up to 150 mW at 1550 nm), a wide 135° viewing angle for uniform illumination with fewer components, and a wavelength range from 700 nm to 1650 nm, they offer a high degree of design flexibility for complex and multi-sensor systems. Built on a ceramic substrate with efficient heat dissipation and reliable operation from −40 °C to +85 °C, they are well suited for demanding industrial environments.
